| The Carbonitrided Corrosion Resistant Steel barrel is made from a special 5% chrome steel that has proven its resistance to corrosion in many oilfield environments. It is processed in the same manner as the H-F Carbonitrided barrel and shares the same properties with an inside surface hardness of HRC 60 minimum for .005" depth per side. Its recommended application is severe abrasion in mild to moderate corrosive applications. Its minimum yield strength is 75,000 psi. |
