| H-F Chrome Plated Barrels For abrasive conditions the following materials are available with a hard chrome plating on the inside surface. Its hardness is HRC 67 minimum with a thickness of .003" per side. It should not be used in acid conditions and is recommended for mild corrosion and up to severe abrasive conditions. The materials below are listed in order of their corrosion resistance with their abrasion resistance being equal. The most corrosion resistant is listed first.
