| Hold Down Seal Assemblies Harbison-Fischer Hold-Down Seal Assemblies are available for every pump assembly and pumping condition. They are available in alloy steel, stainless steel (303/304 or 316), brass and monel, in bottom and top hold-down configurations. The Cup Type Hold-Down Seal Assembly is the
most popular assembly due to its ease of seating and unseating and standardization
by API. Three cups provide the initial holding force and seal the fluid
above the pump from the formation fluid. Cups are available in nylon,
composition and high temperature versions. |

| The Type "O" Hold-Down Seal
Assembly has the largest through hole of all seating assemblies and is
used in pump assemblies that require greater clearance for a valve rod,
pull tube or viscous fluids.
Mechanical Hold-Down Seal Assemblies are used
for high temperature applications or installations that require a greater
initial hold-down force. The hold-down seal ring is available in brass
or hardened stainless steel. |
