| H-F Flexite® Ring Plunger This plunger is designed for high water cut wells that lack enough lubrication to prevent sticking or galling of a metal plunger in the barrel. Flexite® rings are manufactured from a special hard, plastic composition material that is self-lubricating. The material is tough and wear resistant, and will not corrode, swell or disintegrate. The rings are precision ground for an exact fit in the barrel. The free moving action of the rings allows them to expand to a positive seal on the upstroke and release gradually on the downstroke. Flexite® rings are manufactured in two styles; Regular Width rings are for pumping conditions to depths of about 5,000 feet, and Wide Design (three times more sealing surface) are for deep wells and heavy loads. They are available in a wide range of sizes. |
